Practicing Law Since 1996
I’ve practiced civil litigation – including family law and commercial litigation – since 1996, including 12 years with one of the largest and most prominent law firms in the Southeast. I have served as President of the 14th Judicial District Bar and the Durham County Bar Association, as well as twice served as Co-Chair of the Durham County Family Bar. I have been a speaker with the North Carolina Bar Association, providing continuing legal education to other attorneys. In 2013, I opened the Law Offices of Catherine Pavur to provide personalized, quality legal service at competitive cost.
Based in Durham, I handle commercial litigation matters statewide and family law cases throughout the Triangle and surrounding areas.
I am a North Carolina native. When not practicing law, I enjoy volunteering with my church, restoring vintage furniture, cooking and spending time with my husband and our two children.
